It is high time that someone should show how to make America healthy again. In my native country Hungary after the war the government instituted a movement: " ready to work and fight". It spent a lot of money on sports equipment and to encourage the 8-80 age group to engage in sports by dangling some carrot. But this is not the point. My cousin who wrote her thesis on mass medicine with a lot of statistics, claims that it emptied the hospitals. The first job of Obama is to try to persuade the fat slobs to get off the haunches and do exercise.

Schoolchildren should be encouraged not to become obese. A strong lean body looks after one, even in one's old age.

Doctors simple have no idea about health. They should be trained in natural methods to deal with problems, much of it could be avoided by healthy living. Diagnoses has gone out of the window. My grandfather often said that before a patient reaches his desk in his surgery, he has a fair idea what is wrong with him.

Ban coloured televison transmission. Black and white tely would be less interesting to watch. This includes computors, which should be tools and not enetertainment boxes.

Break the stranglehold of big pharma. Medicines, many with side effects, have natural alternatives. A couple of years ago my blood pressure shot up to 165-175 and my doctor tried all sorts of pills, one more expensive than the other, none of which helped. Then I tried garlic, just three segments a day and I am down to 128/75. I am 74 years old and once again fighting fit. I work out every day, run 4 engineering companies, work 9-10 hours a day, apart from disciplined study programs and a lot of social work.

The problem with the world is that there are too many do gooders, too many ambulance chasers, too much idle leisure time, too little self discipline. People have to be managed with love and understanding, some carrot, but the stick should be also at hand.
