I was tortured by being crashed between "doctors" with positive & negative attitudes to break me. This was organised and paid for by Doctor Rowntree, senior medical advisor to the Foreign office. It is ironic that it had to go through welfare as I tried to kill myself as a result. The eveidence is in the hands of the press and GMC. As a post-graduate in Human Rights Law and someone who has never doubted the fact that those in power are happy to harness scientific advance for their own needs, I think I'd probably be missing out on some interesting opinion if I didn't read this. However, yet again, I am interested by the fact that you say psychiatry doesn't come out well. I'd be interested if you could cite a branch of science that hasn't been harnessed by governments or those in power for their own needs.
